He has done his Cardiology Fellowship from Melbourne Australia. He has long experience as Consultant in cardiology in India, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
He is in charge of a Cardiology Unit with direct supervision of Cardiology Specialist and Residents with full spectrum of invasive and non-invasive cardiology including 2D and 3D echocardiography. Apart from his clinical responsibilities Dr Agrawal is involved in research work and has authored many publications which have been published in peer reviewed journals. He is Vice-Chair of Academic Committee at Fujairah Hospital. He is also Vice President of Cardiac Society of India-UAE Chapter.
He is part of many international registries at the Middle East and Global levels. He is a member of Core Committees on Imaging and Preventive Cardiology at Emirates Cardiac Society. He has vast clinical experience with special interest in Interventions, Hypertension, Valvular Heart Disease and Preventive Cardiology on which is given many state of Art lectures. He is a teacher and an examiner for undergraduate and post graduate in India and UAE. He is also the chair of widely attended Annual Fujairah Cardiovascular Symposium. He is an international faculty and given focused lectures at European Society Flagship meetings EuroEcho 2012, EuroEcho 2013 as well as World Congress of Echocardiography 2013.

Craig Beam is the President of Petra ICS, a division of The Innovation Institute. Mr. Beam is past Chairman of the American Heart Association and has chaired the Hospital Accreditation Business Management Committee for the past seven years. He has been active in advisory and policy making roles related to research as well. He served for four years as advisor to the Director of the National Institutes of Health, is a past Treasurer and CEO of the World Heart Federation, served on the Board of Pacificare, UniHealth and was Chairman of the Board of Martin Luther Hospital. He is an Endowed Fellow of the National Healthcare Foundation and has been published in numerous peer reviewed journals on a variety of healthcare topics.

During his tenure as Chair of AHA, the Get with the Guidelines Stroke initiative was launched, and he has remained an active participant in the expansion of this program beyond stroke to other CVD areas such as heart failure, resuscitation, atrial fibrillation, and coronary artery disease. Mr. Beam is currently a member of the writing group for the update of Cholesterol Guidelines and is a member of the AHA Oversight Committee.

Mr. Beam is a founder of several healthcare startup companies focused on new approaches to care delivery. These include REStrategies, a firm that utilizes predictive analytics in distributive strategies for ambulatory healthcare delivery and OM Healthcare a firm that is bringing direct to consumer healthcare alternatives.

A lifelong native of California, he holds degrees in Accounting and Finance and hold the professional designation of Counselor of Real Estate.

Dr. Feras Bader is a Consultant Cardiologist in the Heart and Vascular Institute at the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine and specializes in the field of Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation.

He had his heart failure and transplant fellowship training at Yale University School of Medicine, and then went to the University of Utah and completed his cardiovascular fellowship in 2006. He joined faculty there in the Division of Cardiology. He served as the Medical Director of the Heart Failure Program at the University of Utah Hospital and the Director of the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Fellowship Program. During his time there, he also obtained a Master's Degree in Clinical Investigation.

In late 2012, Dr. Bader took a leave from the University of Utah and helped establish the first multidisciplinary advanced heart failure program in Kuwait. This program culminated in the first successful destination ventricular assist device therapy there. After adding a very valuable regional experience to his experience from the US, he relocated to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi in summer of 2015 to pursue his ambition of building an internationally recognized advanced heart failure and transplant program in the Middle East.

Dr. Bader is American Board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. His research interests include various aspects in ventricular assist devices, hemodynamics and cardiorenal interaction in heart failure. He is currently dedicated to highlighting the unique clinical and socioeconomic aspects of heart failure in the Middle East. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Houssam Younes is an assistant professor and vascular surgeon at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He highly trained in new minimally invasive endovascular surgery technologies including image-guided and catheter based therapies, and traditional open surgery techniques. He completed his surgical training at Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas Medical Branch where he held significant leadership roles and was awarded the Golden Scalpel and Humanism and Excellence in Teaching awards recognizing his outstanding and exemplary residency. He completed his vascular surgery training at the Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center and subsequently joined the cardiovascular surgery department as a faculty. During the time he worked at Houston Methodist Hospital he held the position of the director of wound care and hyperbaric therapy clinic and was awarded the Summer Teen Volunteer Program exceptional mentor award.

Dr. Younes’ clinical interest is in complex endovascular therapies and hybrid approaches which extends the range of vascular disease treated and expand the patient population which will benefit from minimally invasive surgery. His research interests include endovascular surgery outcome, vascular imaging, dialysis access and limb salvage. He has presented multiple national presentations and has authored numerous published articles. His knowledge and proficiency in vascular surgery is recognized by receipt of the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery Peter Samuel’s Award and the Allstair Karmody Finalist Award and the Society for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Fellow Award.

Jacques BUSQUET, MD, is currently coordinator of vascular and endovascular service in the cardio-vascular department of the Clinique Chirurgicale Val d’Or - Saint Cloud, a prestigious private hospital in Paris, France, part of the Foch Foundation Group.

He completed medical school, four-year internship in surgery and six-year residency in cardio-vascular and thoracic surgery at the University of Bordeaux, France. In 1983, he also completed a cardio-vascular research fellowship at the Brompton Hospital, University of London, UK, after winning the research award of the French Society of Cardiology. In 1988, he sets up one of the first endovascular program in France using peripheral

Angioplasty and stents, after several post-residency trainings in USA (Los Angeles, Phoenix, New Orleans). Since this time, he is actively involved as speaker, moderator or scientific committee member of the major international vascular and endovascular meetings (Arizona Heart, Charing Cross, CICE , EuroPCR, Ochsner, Mayo, SITE, TCT, VEITH, VIVA). In November 2010, he received the international vascular award “Pionner in Performance” in New York City during Veith Symposium. Dr Busquet is co-founder in 1992, executive board member and former chairman of international council of the International Society of Endovascular Specialists (ISES), a medical society having 1600 members and represented in 60 countries. He has been President of the Society from February 2011 to February 2013, succeeding Professor Christopher Zarins from Stanford University, USA, and have the current position of ISES International Ambassador.

He is also president of the Val d’Or Vascular Association, a french non-profit organization dedicated to research and development in cardiovascular medicine. Since 2006, under its auspices, he organizes annually in Paris a successful vascular meeting on vascular diseases, cardio-vascular imaging and endovascular technologies open to cardio-vascular specialists. Dr Busquet is member of the French Society of Vascular Surgery, former elected board member from 2001 to 2008. He also serves as editorial board member in the Journal of Endovascular Therapy (USA), the Endovascular Today Magazine (USA) and Tecnicas Endovasculares (Spain).

His hobbies are reading, oenology and sport (marathon runner, former member of the French Olympic sailing team).

Dr. Joseph Lamelas is considered an expert and pioneer in the most advanced forms of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery. He is Board certified in Cardiac and Thoracic surgery and has received Board Certification in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.

Dr. Lamelas completed his general surgery residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York, and his Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery residency at The State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn, New York.After his training, Dr. Lamelas moved to Miami, Florida where he was in practice for 26 years. From 2008 - 2016 he served as the Chief of Cardiac Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. He has consistently had one of the lowest morbidity and mortality rates in the State of Florida as well as in the nation, gaining the attention of surgeons and patients from around the globe.

Dr. Lamelas has performed more than 14,000 Cardiac operations in his career, which began in 1990.

In January 2017, Dr. Lamelas moved to Houston, Texas to join the Baylor College of Medicine, CHI St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, Texas Heart Institute as the Associate Chief of the Division of Cardiac Surgery.

Dr. Lamelas' practice is predominantly Cardiac Surgery. He offers his patients every Cardiac Surgical approach available as well as the latest state of the art techniques.

He has participated in national and international Cardiac Surgery operative surgical symposia. Additionally, he has lectured extensively at conferences on all aspects of Cardiac Surgery and has publish numerous articles.

As a result of his extensive experience, Dr. Lamelas has played an instrumental role in the design and development of new and innovative concepts and products for advancing the field of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery. Miami Instruments, Inc. was a collaborative effort amongst Dr. Lamelas and engineers with the vision of providing Cardiac Surgeons the tools and exposure devices to facilitate minimally invasive procedures.

Simplicity and reproducibility have been the primary goal of the "Miami Method". The "Miami Method" is a Minimally Invasive Valve Repair and Replacement approach that Dr. Lamelas has developed and refined over the years. This approach has now been expanded to benefit patients with aortic pathology as well as multi-valve disease. There has been documented benefits to his patients with this technique.

Dr. Lamelas remains passionate about minimally invasive surgery and education. He is involved in training surgeons from across the United States and abroad in advanced and innovative surgical techniques. Khalid Almuti is a consultant cardiologist at the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and the section director for Cardiac Electrophysiology. He has American Board of Internal Medicine certification in cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Almuti is trained in the management of cardiac arrhythmias and in cardiac device implantation.

Dr. Almuti completed his college and professional studies in the United States. He did his undergraduate work at the University of California at Berkeley. He subsequently pursued his medical degree at the State University of New York.

He then pursued specialty training in Internal Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. This was followed by a year of training in heart failure and cardiac transplantation at Columbia University also in New York. He completed further training in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology in Pennsylvania.Prior to joining the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Almuti was a staff cardiologist and electrophysiologist at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Ohio. He also served as an assistant professor of clinical medicine at the University of Cincinnati and as director of electrophysiology services at West Chester Hospital.

Dr. Almuti’s research has focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. This includes improving the safety and efficacy of cardiac ablation procedures, prevention of sudden cardiac death, prevention of stroke/thrombo-embolism, and pharmacologic management of atrial fibrillation. He has authored multiple articles and textbook chapters on these and other related topics.

He is a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS) and the American College of Cardiology (FACC).

Dr. Alkhouli received his medical degree from Damascus University in Syria. After training in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease at Temple University in Philadelphia, he completed advanced training in vascular medicine, interventional cardiology, and structural heart disease interventions at the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY and Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN.

In 2016, Dr. Alkhouli joined WVU Heart and Vascular Institute Morgantown as the director of structural heart disease interventions, and an associate director of the cardiovascular fellowship program.

Dr. Alkhouli is an author of over 75 peer reviewed articles and book chapters. He is a primary investigator of several clinical trials on cutting edge therapies in structural heart interventions and high risk coronary interventions such as the AMULET left atrial appendage IDE trial, door to unloading with IMPELLA CP system in acute myocardial infarction (DTU). His research interests in addition encompass outcomes and disparity research, patient reported outcomes, stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation and transcatheter aortic valve replacement.

Dr. Steve Henao obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and was a Southern Medical Association scholar. He completed his residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and subsequently completed his fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Henao's clinical interests include aortic therapy and critical limb ischemia.

Dr. Henao’s work has resulted in several book chapters, journal articles and over 60 presentations internationally. He is currently involved as local principal investigator in numerous clinical studies such as the ongoing BEST CLI study to evaluate the effectiveness of open versus endovascular therapies in critical limb ischemia, the IMPERIAL study to evaluate the efficacy of a new drug eluting peripheral stent, the TOBA trial looking at a novel tacking system to treat dissections in the lower extremity arterial circulation, the ROADSTER 2 trial studying a reversal-of-flow cerebral protection system for carotid stenting, the LUCY study looking at the benefits of low profile aortic aneurysm therapy and how it relates to women, and the LIFE study, looking at minimally invasive anesthesia and postoperative care in an aortic fast-track protocol - of which he was the highest enrolling specialist in the United States. He is active in medical device development, and recently performed the first-in-man Ovation iX Abdominal Stent Graft System successfully. Dr. Henao continues to improve patient care by utilizing contemporary technologies and evidence-based vascular practices for patients throughout the Southwest.
